FCPA - Our Statement of Faith

    The Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants is an evangelical organization

    with the following theological distinctives:

    The Bible is unique in its divine inspiration, inerrancy, and authority as

    the Word of God.

    (II Tim. 3:16,17)

    Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We affirm His virgin birth, sinless

    humanity, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and ascension

    into heaven.

    (Matt. 1:23-25; II Cor. 5:14-21; Luke 24:46-51)
    

    All people are in need of salvation.

    (Rom 3:23)

    Salvation is the gracious gift of God through faith in Christ.

    (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:9-10,13)

    The lives of Christians will demonstrate works of gratitude and witness

    to the transforming power of God's Holy Spirit.

    (II Cor. 12:9; Phil. 2:13)
    

    There will be bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the

    everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment

    of the lost.

    (II Cor. 5:10; Rom. 5:18; I Cor. 15:51-53; II Cor. 4:14)

    There is one true church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers

    regardless of race or social standing.

    (I Cor. 12:13-18)

    We acknowledge and encourage spiritual growth through Bible study,

    prayer, witnessing, Christian fellowship, and involvement in a local

    Bible-believing church.

    (Heb. 10:24-25)

    We expect the personal return of Jesus Christ.

    (I Thess. 4:16-18)

    We believe that God has ordained marriage to be between one man

    and one woman.
