FCPA Statement of Faith

The Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants is an evangelical organization with the following theological beliefs:

• The Bible is unique in its Divine inspiration, inerrancy, and authority as the Word of God.

• Jesus Christ is the son of God.  We affirm His virgin birth, sinless humanity, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven.

• All people are in need of salvation. (Rom. 6:23)

• Salvation is the gracious gift of God through faith in Christ. (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:9-10)

• The lives of Christians will demonstrate works of gratitude and witness to the transforming power of God's Holy Spirit. (Eph. 2:10)

• There will be bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

• There is one true church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers regardless of race or social standing. 
  (1 Cor. 1:19)

• We acknowledge and encourage spiritual growth through Bible study, prayer, witnessing, Christian fellowship, and involvement in a local Bible-believing church.  (Heb. 10:25)

• We expect the personal return of Jesus Christ.
